How does the P3ProSwing Golf Swing Analyzer Functions?
It all starts with a durable P3ProSwing Golf Swing Analyzer that features 65 infrared optics that reflect light off of your clubs (or club tape) and back into the sensor - providing detailed information about your swing. Just connect to your computer, allow enough room to swing a club and you can be up and playing in minutes!
Analyze your Golf Swing
As the club comes across the surface, 65 infrared optics reflect light off of the bottom of the club/club tape and back to the pad. Detailed information is sent to the computer via a supplied 15' USB cable.
Interpreting the Data
Data from the golf swing analyzer gets processed by the P3ProSwing software and provides real-time golf simulation & golf analytics feedback.
Displaying the Information
Video from the software is delivered to the monitor or projector using the computer's video card. If you use a projector, you can project the image on to an impact screen or wall.
Three Step Set Up
Place sensor pad in an area large enough for your swing
Install the software on your laptop or desktop computer, connect the cable & plug in power
Setup your woods & putter with the tape provided & start the program

Taping your club gives a crisp clean area for the system to record its data from and it is the reason the P3™ is the most accurate golf swing analyzer on the market. It offers spacing between the club and the optical slots on the unit that allow you to swing freely and impact the sensor unit cleanly. When the tape is applied properly, the gap between the front of your club and the patented white reflective strip match up perfectly so the data is acquired directly at impact.
Proper Taping Method
Taping your club to be accurately read by the P3™ is not a difficult or time-consuming task. When done properly, you will achieve 99.9% accuracy on your swing measurement data, and the ball flight that you see on the screen will be most representative of your swing. There are 2 different methods of taping your clubs to fit every budget.
NOTE: Most irons do not require taping, but taping increases the accuracy of the analysis.
- Use the supplied applicator guide to position the One Step tape. Align the high intensity reflective strip to the middle of the club face, just off the leading edge of the club.
- Use the black tape to cover the entire bottom surface of your club. Be sure to tape slightly up the hosel of the club to make sure there are no false reflections from that surface.
- Use the supplied applicator guide to position the high intensity reflective strip. Align to the middle of the club face, just off the leading edge of the club.
