Bethel, Maine (January 16, 2004) ‚ Golf pros, coaches and recreation facilities can add a new tool to their programs: a highly affordable golf swing analyzer and game simulator.

Sports Vision Technologies' new $579 P3pro actually outperforms golf simulators costing as much as $38,000 ‚ and requires no special apparatus beyond a catch net, a personal computer and a 110v outlet.

The P3pro utilizes an extremely durable sensing platform with a complex array of 65 infrared emitters and receptors. The sensor array precisely measures club head motion before, during, and after impact with the ball.

The swing analyzer measures key swing data including swing path, sweet spot, club face angle, speed, tempo and toe and heel heights. Precise swing data is displayed on the computer screen, along with a graphic representation of the ballís flight path.

P3pro also allows golfers to practice and improve their putting.

The built-in Golf Simulator software lets users play an exciting virtual golf course, or practice on its virtual driving range or putting green. The stunning 3D graphics vividly replicate a real round of golf.
