Dr. Gary Wiren

Gary WirenDr. Gary Wiren is golf’s most respected teacher. He wrote the most influential book ever written on teaching golf, the PGA Teaching Manual. He is a member of four Golf Halls of Fame. He was on the PGA staff for 12 years.

He founded the PGA’s National Academy of Golf and served as PGA Director of Education, Learning and Research as well as the PGA Hall of Fame. He has been recognized as “Teacher of the Year” and he is one of only 31 PGA Master Certified Teaching Professionals. He has written 10 books on golf, has produced golf instructional videos and has starred in weekly golf television shows. He has taught lessons to over 250,000 people in private, group and seminars.

Gary was a Founding Member of the Golf Collector’s Society and has one of the finest collections of golf memorabilia.

In 1985 Dr. Wiren founded Golf Around the World, the leading manufacturer and distributor of golf teaching aids for teaching professionals.

Currently Gary Wiren is traveling the country lecturing to PGA sections, and is also promoting the new SwingView Pro video analysis program. He resides in N. Palm Beach, Florida and is an instructor at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida.
