Dr. Hepler: P3ProSwing Golf Simulator Exceeded Expectations

In 2005 we purchased a P3ProSwing system. This included the software, hitting mat and impact screen. We had a PC that sufficed and an enclosed area for hitting shots.

During 2004 I researched golf simulators. Frankly I had my doubts about P3ProSwing. After all, how could a system so reasonably priced work that well?

I am writing to tell you it has not only met, but far exceeded my expectations! It is easy to use and extremely accurate. I hit a 6 iron on the course about 160 yards and on our P3ProSwing it shows 160 yards. I drive the ball about 240 and I get about 240 on our P3. Even delicate chip shots are extremely accurate. In fact, we sometimes play a game/drill where we progress chipping at 1 yard increments, within a 10% margin of error, from 10 yards to 20 yards.

The golf course that came with the system is fun and accurate too. Nothing can beat “playing” a round or having a “match” in our living room during an Illinois winter.

One reason we purchased the P3ProSwing is for our daughter, Katherine, to keep up her swing during inclement weather, school, etc. Katherine is a very good junior player and was the 12 year old who set the record for the youngest person to qualify for the Championship Flight of the Women’s Western Amateur. WWGA officials indicated the previous record was held by Nancy Lopez who was 14 and who remains Katherine’s golf “hero.” Although many factors contribute to Katherine’s good play, we credit her use of the P3ProSwing as one of them.
